Pentatonix are SONY recording artists and the 2011 winners of NBC's TV reality show, "The Sing-Off". This 5-member a cappella group began with three high school friends, Kirstie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, and Scott Hoying. These Texas teens arranged a trio version of “Telephone” in the hopes of winning a chance to meet the cast of "Glee". They didn't win the contest, but after getting positive feedback on YouTube, the three decided to audition for NBC's "The Sing-Off". To complete their sound, they added bass, Avi Kaplan and beatboxer, Kevin Olusola. With the five in place, Pentatonix was born!
Afro-Blue Vocal Band took the a cappella world by storm with their appearance on NBC's "The Sing-Off" season 3. The group began as a music class at Howard University. The ten members fill their music with beautiful harmonies, soaring solos and a fresh take on jazz, soul and pop classics.
Among the general public, this Sweet Adeline's quartet is best known for their appearance on NBC's reality TV show, "The Sing Off". The contemporary a cappella community knows them best as the 2009 National Harmony Sweepstakes Champions. But barbershop fans and Sweet Adelines fans know MAXX Factor as the 2011 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champions and “Queens of Harmony”.
Molly, Leslie, Kim and Valerie have been performing and competing together as MAXX Factor since August 2007, but singing and competing in Region 19 top 5 quartets is something they have each been a part of since joining Sweet Adelines. Tenor, Molly Dalton Plummer is a member of the Sweet Adelines International Region 19 medalist chorus, the Pride of Baltimore. Baritone, Kim Hudson, bass, Valerie Hadfield-Rasnake and lead, Leslie Wodday are currently Sweet Adelines Chapter-at-Large, but have competed Internationally with the Pride of Baltimore.

Masai Electro's style has been described as akin to a DJ scratching and remixing dance songs with a touch of impossible vocal sound effects, ala Police Academy's Michael Winslow.
Masai Electro is most well-known for his featured role in both a national Sprint Commercial, and Verizon's online interactive video game commerical for "The Beatbox Mixer" with Rahzel, Butterscotch and Click Tha Supah Latin.
